A friend recommended this place when I was planning a trip to Mount Cook NP. Definitely worth the stop. We bought a box of 500g fresh king salmon sashimi and made sandwiches at one of the picnic tables available outside the shop. It was probably one of the best and freshest I've ever tasted. Plus enjoying it with the view... More

We discovered the salmon farm by accident . It has a great shop and we bought some salmon at a very reasonable price , it was delicious . We did not eat in the cafe / restaurant but the food looked excellent . Well worth a visit .

This is simply one of the best raw King Salmon I have eaten like a Sashimi treat. Will definitely go back again.

Don't miss to stop by the Alpine Salmon Farm if you visit Mount Cook. The shop offers several salmon products - sashimi, smoked, etc. There are picnic tables outside the shop where you can have a nice quality salmon while enjoying the scenic view of Lake Pukaki and Mt.Cook.

While camping in the area we stopped off at the Mt Cook Salmon farm. There is a cute wee cafe where you can get simple food & they have a good range of salmon, both fresh & smoked to purchase. You are able to walk out beside a couple of the ponds & there are free pellets available so you... More

Only sashimi and smoked salmon found in this little shop, plus a few sauces etc (no cooked salmon). Sashimi sold in either 100g (~6 pieces) or 500g (more worth it) Thick chunky and fresh salmon with unbeatable views of Lake Pukaki especially when it gets so blue with the snow capped mountains in the background. More for takeaway as there... More

We dripped into this little shop and had the chinook salmon sashimi! The salmon was so tender, flavourful and it melted like butter in your mouth. We also had a fillet cooked by friends and the same, moist, loads of flavour and the best salmon ever. Their method if farming he fish is also very unique and is not practised... More

Salmon was fresh and nice. Would have bought the bigger pack if I knew it was this good. Too bad we were rushing to our next location. Good spot for lunch with good view of Lake Pukaki
