Bula bus takes you to all the hotels, water park and Port Denarau. Last stop from Port Denarau is the Hilton Hotel. First stop from the Hilton Hotel is Port Denarau. It costs $10 a day or $30 for 5 days. They have family passes also. They run quite often, there are alot of these buses. Can purchase tickets at the hotels and at Port Denarau. Great service.

Who doesn't love the Bula Bus?? Staying in Denarau it's a fun way to get around.
Yes, I do remember when it was free and way too many people tried to get onboard and hung off the edges! Good fun.

$30FJD for five days.

Highly recommended if you’re needing to hop back and forth between resorts in Denarau and the Marina, especially if it’s hot as the breeze will cool you down. Pick ups available every 15 minutes (usually less) and it’s cheap enough.

A good way to get around Denarau. The bus definitely runs on island time so you could be waiting 5 minutes or twenty minutes. Sometimes the bus maybe full so you will need to wait for the next bus or the next bus.
The multi-day passes are a good way to go, however I do not understand why they provide a five day adult pass and a four day child pass.
The drivers are friendly but there is often confusion as to the rules for teens and children with drivers interpreting the rules differently. It didn't matter as they were forgiving and let our 14 year old son travel despite their interpretation of the rules.

A cheap and great alternative to taxis. About a 15 minute ride to the Marina/Port depending on where you join it.

The Bula Bus is expensive for what it does, $9FJ ($8FJ quoted on their website). It runs to each of the resort hotels on Denarau Island following a circular route, also stopping at various places of interest. Yes you can hop on and off at any of the resorts until 11pm. It is a unique way Fijian of getting around the island.

You can buy a day pass or for longer. They come every 15 to 20 minutes and are very handy if you want to get between the resort and to Port Denarau for the restaurants etc
