One thing I quickly learned while volunteering in Fiji was to never, EVER expect the flyer to be on time. If pick-up was at 2, be ready at 4:30. I almost missed my flight back home at 9 o'clock at night bc the Flyer was so behind and then luggage took an extra 30 min to be distributed. I was... More

We had took the yasawa flyer to Nacula island, which is 4.5 hours away. We got the complimentary pick up, it was just a couple minutes late - lets call that fiji time. We went down stairs in the air con area. I did the mistake of facing backwards so felt a little ill half way through the trip. If... More

Beautiful seascapes! Lovely islands. Many stops makes it a little bit slow but when you want to get to the resorts you have a lot of choice with the Flyer. The Captain's Lounge worth it when it's the flyer, not when it's South Sea Cruise! They don't tell you when you book :-(!

The Yasawa Flyer is the only way to get to the overnight resorts on the Yasawa Islands unless you hire a seaplane or helicopter. A once daily round trip from Port Denarau up around the Yasawa's, it is prompt and relatively comfortable with minimal concerns of sea sickness. A return ticket to Mantaray resort, for example costs FJ$336. You get... More

We travelled on this ferry as part of a day trip to Barefoot Kuata. Transfers from our hotel were included - they were organised and on time! It took 2 hours to get to our destination including a few island stops on the way, and our trip was very comfortable in the captains lounge. Basic food and drink items are... More

We travelled to the most southern of the Yasawa Islands called Kuata. It took about 2 hours to get there with about 4 stops at other island before Kuata. The transfer to the island is by smaller boats about 15 people due to the shallow water.

we used the Flyer last year and again in Oct 2016, out to Blue Lagoon & then onto Paradise Cove, we really enjoyed ourselves meeting & talking to other travelers and the crew & enjoying the views and the seats are very comfortable.

This vessel is clean, well looked after and has a nice crew. We caught it to Mana Island where we transferred to the Seapsray for a day trip.

We book a Yasawa Flyer for a RT port to the Mamanucas and Yasawas, with lunch, no getting off, through the Sheraton. We asked for the Captain lounge upgrade $30 and were told to book it at the Marina, when we got to the marina, they told us to book the upgrade on the boat. Although all the brochures show... More
