A quirky little visit if you are out this way. I did not learn as much as I wanted about the man and had to resort to Wikipedia which then told me he was born in France and not here!

Museum is all about proof that Guardel was from Tacuarembo. The locals are quite persistent in that. ;) It is tiny though; dont expect too much. Location is not so easy to reach from Tacuarembo.
