This is one of those must-see, must-do activities on the island. It's unique to Puerto Rico and it's an amazing site to see. We were a little nervous about the kayak trek but the water was smooth and it was not that difficult.

Take a flashlight! You will travel through a small canal in the pitch black. Kayaks will crash everywhere the entire time. The bio bay is pretty cool and is the only reason I'm giving this review a 2. By the time you reach the bay, everyone is fighting in almost every Kayak. We found this trip to be pure misery... More

The bio bay experience itself is awesome - great to go to watch sunset and then experience the kayak back in the darkness. We did a glass-bottom tour, which was not absolutely necessary but interesting. However the guides, three young local guys, were absolutely terrible. I would recommend going with a company with mature guides.

From booking with Marline to the actual tour with Vinny and the tour crew an exciting and pleasant experience! Kayaking was fun and the bio bay was amazing! They provided history and science. I would do it again with this energetic tour group!

Wonderful! One of the best excursions that I have ever done. But I would recommend to do the 6:30 one because the 8:30 trip is pretty scary once it gets dark and you have to head back through the mangroves after the lagoon. We went through Las Tortugas and the man who was in charge was incredibly nice and funny... More

So much fun! Our 4 tour guides were excellent and enjoyable. Really explained exactly what to expect. Was worth all the hard work and sore muscle the next day. The hardest part is getting from shore to the Mongol. The ocean waves and current make it harder to steer. But so much fun! We went on a night with clear... More

You must do this! This was relaxing and beautiful. You will be amazed with the water. If you want to do this, go at night. It was a great experience. The staff was friendly and made sure we stayed together and everyone was safe.

Having stayed at La Concha in San Juan, we booked our bio bay tour through Adcanced Tours PR. The pickup was right on time. It was about an hour from San Juan to Fajardo. The ride was a bit like Mr. Toad's wild ride, but we did arrive safely. When we arrived, the smell of sulfur and death were unavoidable.... More

Soooo much fun. I had never been kayaking before. This group of guys were absolutely amazingly friendly and fun!!! I was by myself and was paired up with another person who way alone. I kind of freaked out just a little when I saw that we actually were starting in the ocean. But the water was very calm. We kayaked... More

The glowing water is really cool to see but the ride back through the mangroves in the pitch black against the current is not for the faint of heart! Be prepared to work and don't forget the bug spray.
