Not worth it. Too much hype. We could only see some dull sparkles. The kayaking thru the dark mangroves was fun and adventurous though!

It was very dark no moon and a very cool experience. It definitely is a Must Do thing here. The water glows when disturbed. We did it in Fajardo 5 years ago(2012) and it was good there too. But this was better I think. There are plenty touring companies to choose from but BIEQUES is great. The guides are very... More

We booked our excursion with Kayak Puerto Rico and could not have been happier. They are a top-notch outfit, very professional and informative. The Bioluminescent Bay and the mangroves are truly a naturalist's dream. Kayaking through the mangroves was so peaceful - but I would warn visitors that once it's dark, tarpons are jumping right out of the water near... More

Although we had quite a bit of moonlight, we could still see the glow under a black tarp they brought. It was a really neat kayak through the mangroves to get out to the bay.

If you thought the pictures you see online are fake, think again! This place is absolutely unbelievable. We went during nighttime on a kayak tour. We paddled in the dark to an opening to this amazing Bay. As you run your fingers through the water, you'll see it light up like magic. This place is an absolutely GO in my... More

We used eco adventures for kayaking. Monica checking us in was not bad, but not welcoming. Tour guides were great. However, my wife was with my son in a kayak. She had never kayaked before. The guides gave us a quick tutorial, however should have given a quick lesson in the kayak on the water. My wife struggled to kayak... More

Never kayaked before. But got the hang of it quickly. Great experience paddling through the pitch black river to get to the lagoon. The water lights up and sparkles with every push of the paddle.

We enjoyed this trip, Kayaking PR was well organized and safety conscious. You are split in pairs of kayaks, I recommend twilight tour, not too hot, you can still see the mangroves as you start. When we got to the bay it was full moon (they gave us a discount for this) we held up a tarp to try to... More
