The pub is located just outside the main gates to Castle Durrow and it was an amazing little country bar. The music (band) were fantastic and we had about 60 people from the wedding party in the pub and all had a great time

Had a few drinks in Bobs while attending a wedding in Castle Durrow. A very friendly and cosy bar with lots of character, well worth a visit!

Love this pub. Great setting on the riverbank. Good pint and wine from a barrel! Always sure of a chat and fun and sometimes surprise sessions.

Very interesting little pub with a fabulous outdoor area alongside the river... one of Ireland's originals! Only stayed for one drink as we were off to a wedding but will hopefully be back sometime for a longer visit..

We dropped in for a "pint" when staying overnight in the village. The landlord very generously provided us with a generous complementary platter of satay, chicken wings and other tapas! We enjoyed our treat in the adjoining garden overlooking the river.

The day after the wedding had a great meal and drink with close family and friends. The friendly way we were welcomed and looked after was excellent.

Since relocating from North London to Durrow, Bob's Bar has become my local. And although not a regular visitor to pubs, I have to admit visits to the bar are always a pleasant experience. Its compact interior hides a free museum of assorted vintage bicycles / bric-a-brac; and the 'snug' houses 1st world war memorabilia to Bob's granduncle (Jack Moyney),... More

Attended a party in Bobs bar, great service, friendly staff, with a lovely location beside the river. Great space for a barbecue.

Went there as part of pre-wedding pints group and had pleasure of meeting Bob and enjoying a sunny pint by the river. Loads of history in the pub and really interesting photos and memorabilia. Great spot!
