If you are walking from the centre of town to the Gouvernail, it is worth walking into this beautiful, well kept cemetery that is like a small village. So much care and attention has gone into it in the past, and still today. Silence is...More

A unique cemetery 15 minutes of walk of the town centre. Beautifully maintained family tombs are not to be missed when visiting Bonifacio.

Impressive and characteristic set-up on top of the citadel, overseeing the sea. Most of the graves build in above the ground. Looks like to the famous Recoleta.

This cemetery is at the furthest end from the citadel and is worth a visit so that you can see it all. Interesting tombs and crypts and not to morbid.

This must be one of the most amazing locations for a cemetery. It is, quite literally, at the end of the town. A bit of effort is required. But it is well worth it.
