Peaceful Holiday beach

Long beach. We were in a hotel so we had own sunbeds. Not sure what happens if you just visit. Lots of stalls and restaurants around for food. Shallow warm sea

This beach is situated about 20 Kms south of central Pattaya on the southern end of the long Jomtien beach. It is a narrow beach that is usually very quiet except on weekends and public holidays when it popularity increases with local tourists. There are many small food vendors along the beach, however if you would like something a little... More

We usually go to the same spot on Jomtien beach, but it was a Wednesday so it was closed. We decided to try Bang Saray for sundowners and dinner for my birthday and were not disappointed. I would stick to the northern end of the beach which is much quieter and away from all the development further down, although there... More

Bang Saray Beach is a fairly long beach that is slowly getting spoiled by development. In mid week its quite and still moderately pleasant for a walk in the evenings. If your thinking of sunbathing then make sure you take your own brolly as the sun will just cook you. Sea is still cleanish. Bang Saray village end they have... More

The best thing about the beach are the numerous and varied bars and restaurants which over look it. It is the best spot in Bang Saray village to watch the sunset and most nights mother nature puts on a great show. The beach really starts at 'The Beach Bar' which is also probably one of the best bars to sit... More

Bang Saray is one of my favourite beaches to visit when in the area. You can order restaurant food which is delivered to you on the beach. There's mats and chairs available. The beach is beautiful and great place to watch the sunset without the tonnes of crowded deckchairs that you get around Pattaya.

The beach is nice for this part of Thailand, but more for looking at from the shore, or better yet, a restaurant balcony. The water is certainly not welcoming. It could be risky to enter without protective footwear. It's a great place to find quant seafood restaurants and worth going near sunset, if staying nearby.

If I am to choose a close beach to Bangkok to spend the night, , I would definitely go here! Hotels around are affordable and so do food!
