What an amazing place. The view is fantastic & this in combination with a visit to Silver Valley is a very good trip to do. Plenty of photo opportunities. Worth a visit.

Just drove by on the way to our nearby resort. It is impressive to see. Apparently that's real gold. The parking lot looked really busy with lots,of cars and buses and souvenir stands.

Wonderful tribute to King Rama IX, this mountainside buddha image is fascinating and inspiring to all, Buddhists and non-Buddhists alike...just twenty minutes out of Pattaya. Nice restaurant nearby for lunch or a snack.

We visited here after hiring a car and driver for the day, it is a beautiful run out and a magical mountain. We visited here along with silver lake winery which is just next to it and also the chinese temple which was wonderful too

Visiting the Buddha Mountain will also give you a chance to explore Silverlake and many other temples. You just need to have you private vehicle to roam around the area.

Only the first part is Thai, the rest is Phali/Sankrit which I cannot translate.

As far as I know, there is no scheduled public transport out there. I'd either take a metered taxi there and ask him to wait, or negotiate with a song taeow driver to take you out there. Just make sure you are clear that the... More
