The area is serene, even with many bus loads of tourists it is still very quiet, as others have said there is no entry fee, but you should make a donation. Even I being a relapsed Catholic felt I was in the presence of something special.

We visited here on 02/02/2017 morning. We were on our way to Silverlake Vineyard and stopped here for short break and to take some pictures. This place popular with locals and tourists alike and close to other major attractions. It is one of the Pattaya's most noticeable landmarks. A huge golden Buddha image depicted on the mountain. Nothing much here... More

I really cannot put into words just how inspirational this place is. I was in absolute awe at the sight of this mountain as well the surrounding environment of the location. Tranquil and serene seem like cheap words when describing this mountain. Their is no admission fee but they have a few lock boxes scattered throughout the grounds asking for... More

Visiting the Buddha Mountain will also give you a chance to explore Silverlake and many other temples. You just need to have you private vehicle to roam around the area.

This is one several attractions we were able to enjoy in the same day because they were all relatively close to each other. Plan your day out and this is a worthy stopover.

Popular with locals and tourists alike. Impressively a mountain was cut in half and a real gold image inlayed. Is close to other major attractions so not out of the way to visit.

A mountain with a Buddha which is printed in real gold which was a gift from King number 9 to celebrate 50 years to become king. It's a beautiful and very meaningful experience for the Thai people. The Buddha is actually named Praputta Maha Wachiraouttamopas Sassada by the King at that time. the monument was finished in 1996. It's surrounded... More
