This place is like Nothing I've ever seen before. ITS too much to take in at one visit, but still very impressive and worth the effort. Crowded, AS all sights like this, and very humid. Recomended if you're in Myanmar.

Visiting the Pindaya Caves was on our 9th day Myanmar tour, so I had already enough seeing temples, stupas and different style Buddhas. Saying that, I didn't expect much but this place blew me away. The caves are at the half of a cliff, where's...More

I haven’t seen something like this ever. A huge cave of more than 130m deep with 8094 Buddha statues. This was just breathtaking. You can walk into the cave and spend there hours. Also there are some hidden meditation places, don’t miss them. I made...More

I was a little unsecure, if we should visit such a place or not, because it sounded a little bit like Disneyland. Sorry I do not want to talk bad about religion, but 500000 Buddhas sounds strange to me. I am glad we went there...More

A truly wonderful sight. Thought I would be bored but I wasn't. It's a really mind-blowing. Totally full of Gold Buddhas from all over the world. It just goes on and on. Great views over the valley.
