Definitely giant sequoias and beautiful too. It was a good off day visit for us as we did a painful long hike the day before. Walk around and enjoy the sequoias.

We were there just after it had reopened. All the trails refurbished, new signage and rails. A great setting with absolutely amazing giants and a variety of foliage. The Grizzly was incredible (bigger than the statue of Liberty). Some of the oldest trees in the...More

I had to walk in as due to the snow the shuttle wasn’t operating. It was quite a climb in the snow and ice but well worth it. The trees are spectacular and the new walk way is well done. There are plenty of information...More

I’m sure we will feel it tomorrow but was so worth the long hike up. Amazing view and the groves of Redwoods are spectacular. Rated as “strenuous” and took us about 5 hours with some stops for snacks. They have done a very nice job...More

There is something about walking among giants that is so calming and utterly awe- inspiring that all languages become one, all visitors become instant friends, whether or not we know each others' names or ever see each other again. We were in this place experiencing...More

We only made it to the Grizzly Giant as we were hiking with a toddler. This hike is mostly paved and easy enough for a toddler to walk and enjoy. You have to take a Free shuttle to the trail head, but the wait is...More
