This is a good place to stop before descending into Yosemite Valley. There can be traffic or road construction so the drive from here to the valley may take a while ie you may want to make use of the facilities. Rangers are always helpful...More

We had the chance to visit this center right after it reopened from the Rim Fire. The staff here was super helpful and knowledgable, even though they were in the middle of unpacking and reopening.
