We were lucky as we could see the waterfall, it was not dried out. The whole area is worth a walk. The whole national park is just amazing.

Still a beautiful trail, but not a drop of water trickling in Lower Yosemite Falls. Amazing scenery, worth a walk anyway.

I normally love Yosemite falls but we have not received any rain for over a month and the falls are completely dry. It is normally a beautiful spot but wait until we get some rain before you visit this sight.

You would need to stay for more than a day to really appreciate the entire area and to take it all in. So many sites to see and hiking trails and magnificent views. I will definitely come here again.

I loved not having much water as I got to climb the rocks in the riverbed. We climbed right up to the base of the falls. Was awesome. Slippery so have good treads.

We visited Yosemite and drove through the park in June. There were so many amazing sites to take in. Wish we could have spent more time. We used the 4th graders in the park free pass to attend many parks and this one was one...More

In autumn these falls are small but the size of the drop, the majestic rock walls, and the easy walk to get to them make this a worthwhile thing to do. In spring I imagine they are incredible.

We hiked up to the lower falls in early October. Quite a few people along easy trail. The falls themselves had only a moderate volume of water, but if you've not seen many waterfalls, it's worth the trek. The view of the upper falls and...More

The title of my review is somewhat cautionary. If one comes later in the season, the waterfall is entirely absent due to NO WATER. Best months for viewing are usually May through July. June is usually very impressive with a magnificent flow. I've visited during...More

Stay at the Yosemite View Lodge just outside the park in El Portal. When you go into the valley, park as close to, but NOT PAST, the Yosemite Valley Chapel. If you go past, the roads get jammed up. and it is about a 10... More

The lower falls is a short walk to the viewing area. He should have no problem with that. I think you have to hike to the top of the falls for the "upper," which would be too much. Park your car and take advantage of the... More
