Keep going after reaching the top of the Vernal Falls (Mist Trail) for another 1000 feet and you get to the top of the Nevada falls Stunning views from the top. The trail is steep, especially towards the top, and unforgiving in the sun as...More

This was a very scenic trail! Stunning views of Nevada Falls and Vernal Falls. This hike is strenuous. Bring lots of water!

This trail is not for the meek so use caution! Very steep and no hand rails or barriers most of the way. Plan for many breaks and bring water and snacks. Very strenuous and treacherous so be wary. Many switchbacks and slippery during the wet...More

Via Mist Trail & Vernal Falls about 4 miles up and 4.5 miles back on John Muir Trail. Snow melt was feeding heavy flows while we were there. The most impressive waterfalls I've ever seen. Prepare for steep climbs, narrow stairs and ridges. Simply beautiful.

You'll be hoofing it! Take it easy and bring some water. Make sure you have good hiking shoes that fit, especially for downhill.
