I went there twice. The first time I was at the falls there were mountain sheep on the mountain side over the top of the falls. Making the trip to the bottom of the falls where the rivers meet there were Harlequin Ducks

We camped in Grant Village. We thought Tower fall might be a fun water fall to hit on our drive to the Lamar Valley. Nope. The parking lot was swarmed and the waterfall view only so so when compared to all of the other amazing...More

Only 150 yard walk on nice path to viewing platform - which can get crowded. There is a cafe/gift shop & good restrooms. Plenty of parking.

The rivers are high in Yellowstone so the falls are marvelous right now. This falls people overlook. We have been here 4 times and never saw a crowd. Maybe just lucky. The view is impressive.

You must hike down a trail to see these falls be careful if it has rained. We did this early one morning when it had frosted and the trail was slippery! But the view was great.

I think this is the best part of Yellowstone. The most picturesque scenery. The trail overlooked the river, snow covered the trees and it just was so beautiful.

Well from a Norwegian point of view this was not much of a waterfall, More like something we have all over the country.

Finding a parking spot is the hard part. Be aware of wondering pedestrians, people driving the wrong way and people making their own parking spots. Once you find a spot, let the fun begin. They have a general store with ice cream and real bathrooms....More

Easily reached from parking lot. Pretty falls with a decent drop to it. I wouldn't say it stood out among all the amazing attractions in the park, but it is a nice, quick stop.

South of Tower is between Roosevelt Junction & Canyon Village. Trail is about one mile round trip to have a better view and it starts about 100 Mts away from the parking area. Worth a stop but not go out of the way. It has...More

I visited Tower Falls in 1977, and at that time, there was a latge boulder sitting right in the middle of the lip of the falls. At the time, it was said that the boulder could fall at any time and had already been there a long time, or it might not fall for over a hundred years. I would like to know if the boulder is still there, or has it gone over the falls?

There is a large-ish boulder at the lip, and the water pours around it. I don't know if it's the same boulder you saw, and I can't put a picture here. But there are other photos posted in September 2016 by TripAdvisor folks... More
