Well worth the short walk from the parking area. We were here in the morning at the end of September so the crowds were not bad. Will probably visit again in a few years and bring some grand kids.
By hiking here some of the trails are a bit rustuc and some very nice , be prepared and enjoy the most wonderful sites in our country.
This whole area is beautiful and the falls are awesome. They area easy to get to and a "must see" when you go to Yellowstone.
It is difficult to describe how impressive and beautiful the view is from the lookout point. We traveled in the off season so we did not have to fight the huge crowds. This is a must see stop in Yellowstone.
Both upper and lower falls are fantastic... We took the north rim drive in the afternoon/evening and south rim drive in the morning. The falls, canyon and sunlight - all make it just glorious! Must see when you visit Yellowstone.
This waterfall is a must if you visit Yellowstone. You can view it in variety of points such as Artist Point or Lookout Point. Make sure to visit in less crowded months like September or May in order to totally enjoy the experience.
