How can you possibly find the words to convey how wonderful and beautiful Yellowstone is? I feel inept trying to describe the awesome power and loveliness of this place. Will definitely return.

It was a real shame that day that the air was not clear as there had been 70 forest fires burning in Montana and Idaho and the air quality was poor. Photos were not as good if the air had been clear.

Absolutely stunning overlook to visit with the waterfalls as your backdrop. Not really a crazy packed area to visit but oh so beautiful. Makes you realize just how stunning our country really is. All in all, easy to get to and worth the visit.

Difficult to assess the size of the waterfalls but they are huge with such powerful flows of water. Not competely frozen in the winter

The majestic cascade of the Lower Falls as seen from Artist’s Point was one of the highlights of our Yellowstone visit. Great place for some awesome pictures, including the rainbows. Do not miss this site when you visit, as it more than lives up to...More

We were spoiled by small crowds. I would recommend a winter trip to Yellowstone to everyone. Remember you can only be shuttled or snowmobile in.

This waterfall can be seen from multiple vantage spots both on the north rim and south rim. No matter where you view from it, it's gorgeous!

Try to hit this site in midweek or off season as it can be very crowded and hard to photograph properly.

When visiting Yellowstone National Park, obviously one of the Top 10 Things to See would be The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, which has a trail along the north rim that will provide you with a fantastic view of the Lower Falls...but then be sure...More

The 308 ft/94 m Lower Yellowstone Falls can be appreciated from the numerous view points along the North and South Rim Drives but is best enjoyed from the Brink of the Lower Falls Trail. The short but steep trail is 0.4 mi/0.6 km long, descends...More

Get to the parking lots early if you want to avoid having to wait for a spot to open up. Before 9am is best.
