This turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. We knew the scenery would be beautiful but we were surprised at how exciting and authentic the whole evening turned out to be. Having ridden horses...More

Loved the wagon ride, but the steak dinner was Fantastic. Our driver was Hanna and the side kick was Chuck. They were very entertaining. If you are in Roosevelt you should check it out. You won't be sorry.

We tried to do this experience a few years ago and were planning to ride out on horseback but a storm rolled in which cancelled our ride. On this visit, with an elderly family member with us, we opted to take the stagecoach out. We...More

We arrived early only to wait another 30 minutes. My daughter is physically handicapped and we were put in one of the last wagons,so we ate dust all the way. We were last to load in the wagon so we were in the back seat....More

Our family rode the wagons to the site. They let the kids sit up front with the driver and we sat right behind them...be aware that the closer you are to the front the more dust there is. A scarf over your mouth is helpful....More

Two horses pull each of ten wagons to the dining area for a real western-style meal. The ride is about an hour, the cowboy chatter on the way is very amusing and informative, and the food is excellent. We had the unique experience of a...More

After speaking to a local in Gardiner, who takes her guests out on this, we decided to give it a go. Like all things in tourist season in Yellowstone, we expected it to be busy and expensive. It was both. We went on the very...More

We read positive and negative reviews for the Cowboy Cookout, so we decided to give it a try since it sounded fun. We rode in the wagons. If you go, be sure to get there early so you're in one of the front wagons, or...More

Hi- this looks so fun to me. Going with my Aunt and 14 year old in August. Would you say 2 hours is just enough time for the ride or too much, can't decide on 1-2 hour ride. Thanks!

Just seeing the question now, sorry for the delay. The cookout was a huge surprise, as far as we weren't expecting that to be the highlight of the trip. Everyone loved it, and wished it had been longer.
