This museum, which is actually in temporary quarters since they're renovating a mill across the canal, is wonderful. There are several hundred notable American women with pictures and a summary of their accomplishments. I highly recommend it for anyone interested in history, women's rights or...More

How nice to find a museum dedicated solely to women. Reading the write-ups all over their walls was very moving. It's very small right now but in spring, 2018 they are moving to a beautifully renovated mill building in town with LOTS of room. This...More

Lots of great historical information on women. A new hall at the mill across the Erie Canal is being refurbished, progress looks wonderful. Take your daughter here!

The displays were very informative. We spent about and hour and a half enjoying learning about each inductee. Inductees are listed in alphabetical order. I would have preferred if they were grouped by historical date or category. Well worth the trip.

Was really surprised by this. It's a must see and a real education. They've done a great job of curating and presentation. LOVED IT!

First, the staff was very kind and informative. I adored the sweet woman who welcomed us and gave us some information. There are a few small exhibits with some treasures (including an item that, if I'm remembering correctly, was originally Amelia Earhart's that Sally Ride...More
