Been living in Vienna for several years and joined Meadowlark in 2012. My husband and I are walkers and love walking in gardens with natural flora and spectacular plantings. Generally, we find the garden to be pristine with very few people walking the grounds. From...More

We visited the botanical garden on a Thanksgiving weekend and loved it. It is a fatanstic location to take family Christmas pictures. Also, you can walk freely and stay for as long as you’d like.

Meadowlark has become our favorite destination for a quiet walk or group get away. This is by far the nicest botanical garden we have visited in the region, rivaling the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden in Richmond and, in our opinion, surpassing the National Arboretum. The...More

Always good for walks. A large, well kept garden with several different portions- a Korean pavilion, a lake, a hill, a duck and koi pond with gazebo- and tons of plants and flowers, including several species native to Virginia. Reminds me of a poor man's...More

Gorgeous walk through beautiful landscaping. Plenty of places to sit and just relax and enjoy the scenery. We came on a very hot day, but didn’t mind the heat with all of the shade it offers!!

Unfortunately, it was an unseasonably cold and windy day in early April, so we weren't able to see the grounds as lush as they would become [probably] just a couple of weeks later. This is a very nice place with good groupings of attractions and...More

It has a nice garden with plenty of plant life to see and study. The lake buts it all in perspective, and the Karen Bell is an added bonus. Pretty all seasons. $5 admission, half for children

A great place for a quiet wander round. Lots to see and just a short distance from Washington DC. Look to spend about 3 hours here.

Nice inexpensive garden. Has a Korean bell area, which is unique, along with a pond and flowers which follow the seasons. Half price for seniors.

There is a fee. But very worthwhile paying for the visit.

You'll have to contact the Garden itself. I do not know what reciprocity they honor.

Sorry Don't know. A phone call there would be worthwhile.
