This neighborhood was in poor shape for many decades. When the powers that be developed it to be upscale, a concurrent movement to keep affordable housing was in play. The result is fantastic. It is a model for other such communities.

So many unique restaurants, dessert shops, interesting stores. Just a great walking experience. There is even a nice park with sprinklers for the kids.

When German immigrants settled here in the 1800's Townhouses sprung up around Findley's Marketplace. Still today there is a great German breakfast food sold, but little else remains of their presence. Clean and inviting.

There are several different tours to choose from including underground tours, segway, breweries. Google OTR tours to review all options. Check Groupon for tour discounts too!
