If you're visiting Cincinnati and you want to know where the hip, cool, fun restaurants and nightlife are, then head to Over-the-Rhine. Some 20-ish years ago, the place was basically a giant crime scene, but not at all these days. Pizza recommendation: Good Fellas, Bar:...More

Definitely the coolest neighborhood that we visited during our weekend trip to Cincinnati. (Also a totally gentrified neighborhood, but I'm not sure that a TripAdvisor review is the right place for commentary on that.) Parking is rough, but if you can find it (or walk...More

Over-the-Rhine is a neiberhood settlement in downtown Cincinnatti. It was originally settled by Germans. At some point the Germans left to go to the suburbs and the neighborhood got a bit run down. Now it is coming back to life with a gusto, with a...More

I had hoped this would be an area filled with cool shops and galleries, but it was not. There are many different restaurants and bars, but that wasn't what I was looking to find.

I went to this place alone. OTR is a long street having historic buildings with contemporary cafes and shops. It is a very vibrant and safe place, but if you somehow go away a bit more, or try to walk in streets parallel to OTR,...More

Nice area to stroll through, stop at a café, eat lunch, window shop, or drop in at the many shop/boutiques. Good people watching. Wonderful painted murals on buildings nearby.

I didn't have time to stay, but would suggest you visit this place if in Cincinnati. It is the newest upcoming area in Cincinnati and it has a lot to offer.

This area near downtown Cincinnatti is a great one to explore on foot - the Germans who settled here built things well, and built them to last, and Thankfully modern developers haven't torn it all down to build condos or covered it up with fake...More

Is it a day out or evening? I have never had a problem with safety in OTR. I work very close by, I always recommend to stay in the group. It' s really fun with great places to eat and drink. Places are next door to each... More
