Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Unfortunately Trip Advisor won’t let me give zero stars. I bought tickets for a show here and then saw the next day that my seats would have been $60 cheaper, so I emailed customer service requesting a refund of the difference. The employee, Chris Klette tried to over-eagerly answer my email telling me it is policy that their prices will change and that there is nothing I could do about that.
If you would like to support a venue that overcharges its customers so significantly, and then has no problem changing their prices on you, go ahead. My family, friends and I will be protesting by not attending any further events at this venue.

I’d give it zero stars if I could. Security was extremely rude! A security guard actually told us to push and shove our way to the front if we wanted barricade at a general admission show. An employee also said the same thing in a public Facebook comment. HBC employees clearly have not learned (from their own history) how dangerous that is. Their equipment is garbage. When it came time for us to get our spots on the floor the ticket scanners wouldn’t work and the head of security refused to hold the line until fans who were there first could get our tickets scanned. Nasty staff and outdated building. Choose another venue if you want to have a great experience!

Went to see a cyclone hockey game here while in Cincinnati with the whole family, lots of people but far from sold out, the hockey is slow compared to junior A , and slower compared to the nhl, tickets were $25 a seat, beers were excessive as was the food pricing, but no different than most sporting venues cost wise, fans seemed to love their team, who did win, 4-1, as for the arena? Looked fine to me, easy parking, good seats, we all had a good time, everyone loved puck chop! go cyclones, cheers

We attended a Journey and ToTo concert at this venue last weekend. The concert itself was fantastic but this venue leaves a lot to be desired.
The inside is old and dirty and most of the seats are missing their arm rests.
A complete renovation of this venue is sorely needed.

If I could rate this place zero stars I would do that. I have been there for concerts, comedy shows and other events and people are literally smoking in the seats blowing smoke all of the place openly and none of the staff does anything to address it. Is this place even managed beyond the tickets and beverage and food. Its an embarrassment to the city for this type of venue to exist in our downtown. Cincinnati can do so much better than this. I vote demolish and rebuild, hire management and get some control. My last event there was last night and never again. I paid $158 and had to go stand in the isle to avoid smoke. I have been congested all day today. I would never advise anyone to drive to this venue from out of town. Heritage Bank should remove their name from the venue. It does not represent excellence. I wouldn't accept free box seats in this place.

Worst arena in the world. They should be ashamed of themselves - disgusting staff, management and facility. The bag policy is ridiculous (especially for a show that isn’t a bad hockey game). I will never buy a ticket to an event here again.

We went to the New Edition Legacy Tour concert... Great show. My biggest complaint is the venue. This was my first time here and more than likely the last time. If you have any issues with stairs this is not the place to go. We had floor seats. i could not believe with the amount of people that was there the only way to get to the floor seats was by steps. The only way to get back out is the steps. I was told by the workers that they are selective in who they allow to use the steps. These steps are a true hazard. There is no railings to hold on too. You truly have to use your leg muscles to get up the steps. Thet really need to do something about this. Major renovations are needed!

Concert “shinedown”- holy crap, I understand this is a hockey venue. But damn, your acoustics are horrendous. All music bands stay away. This place will cause you to lose fans. Compensating for your crap sound system and acoustics doesn’t mean turn it up. Hearing impaired ppl like me will let you know the best band in the world sound like garbage here.

Absolutely filthy inside. There are cloth seats which would be nice but with how dirty the floor and bathrooms were (not to mention one seat was missing an armrest). You pay too much to see events here to sit in this filth.

Went here to attend a Cyclones game. Good fan experience. Nice location right on the river and next to Great American Ballpark and Paul Brown Stadium. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby to pre-game or post-game, and right in downtown. Convenient and cheap parking $5-$10. Lots to see and do around it.

We are thinking about attending the Transiberian concert on 11/29. My husband recently had foot surgery and is completely non weightbearing on his right foot so he uses a knee scooter. There are 5 in our party. How does handicap seating work?

Is that the new name for US Bank Arena? I had already purchased my tickets and then got injured. So I’m not sure how handicap tickets work when you buy them ahead of time but I’m sure you could call and find out. Customer service was able to accommodate me that night when I told them my issue. It was very kind of them to make my visit more enjoyable.
