This little parish church is a real gem with a fantastic view over the Ohio River Valley. It's well worth stopping to see the inside, if you happen to be in Mount Adams.

We walked up the hill and all the stairs to get to the church and it was well worth it. The views are spectacular. You don't need to go inside if that's not your thing, you can enjoy just being there.

Immaculata Church as a beautiful view of the city just outside the front doors. It is also home to the Mt Adams Steps and the Good Friday tradition of "praying the steps." Would definitely recommend that everyone does it at least once.

Holy Cross - Immaculata Church is a peaceful, holy place. Even in the traditional climbing of the steps on Good Friday in the midst of a mod of other worshipers it's easy to find peace. On any given Sunday you'll find a great liturgy and...More
