The Krohn has always been a favorite of mine, ever since my parents started taking me when I was about 1 year old. It is located in Eden Park, has easy access, parking (there is a small lot and spaces on the street also). For any trip back to my hometown, this is always a "have to" on my list.... More

We attend the butterfly show every year. Wear bright colors to attract the butterflies! They will come and land right on you. Also, a lot of people bring orange slices to attract them as well. This year there was the local fire dept there doing a cookout, snowcones and puppet show. Bring cash.

Walking through Eden Park we were surprised to have stumbled upon this place. It was huge and well maintained and it was free to get into. It smelled amazing and the plants were proudly on display. Even the birds were singing and the water didn't look out of place in the areas where it was located. The only thing I... More

Since the butterflies left in June...I was only able to enjoy the foilage. The surrounding area and park give you more to do when you visit.

This is a neat place, it's bigger than other botanical type centers that I've been to. There was a couple of guys working there trimming up little trees, such as a bonzi that you could purchase, they were very knowledgeable about them, learned a lot. They had a neat rain forest area, lots of tropical plants, a "rainforest path" &... More

We go to krohn conservatory multiple times a year, they always have an amazing exhibit! Spring time we go to the butterfly show, which is simply amazing! Weekdays are best, while kids are in school and it's less crowded. The orchids room, bonsai exhibit and rainforest gardens are gorgeous staples to complement any special exhibit being featured at the time.... More

great for walks, events and solo. Special events like the butterfly exhibition was amazing. The fall show is always colorful, great for photographers and nature lovers. The Krohn Conservatory is currently (August) open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. - open daily during Butterfly Show!! Small entrance fee.

This is a small area tucked away in the hills of the city. The orchid house was amazing and exotic. A nice way to spend some quiet time. Children would enjoy this facility as well. There is a nice waterfall to add to the tranquil atmosphere. The surrounding area and road up provide beautiful views of the city and the... More

Our Conservatory visit was awesome. The floral arrangements were exquisite both inside and outside the building. The exotic plants and flowers inside were amazing.
