The orchids are absolutely divine, the plants are spectacular and the butterflies at the end are the quintessential cherry on top. Make a day of it and finish it off by buying a plant.

We went with family to see the butterfly exhibit and it was great! The staff were all friendly and the conservatory was well maintained.

Beautiful flowers and plants. The waterfall and fish were peaceful. The landscaping around it was very well done. It is very economical and good for the price. There is also a little free library near the butterfly garden. It is an average conservatory.

The Conservatory is a wonderful place to bring the whole family. I was disappointed that the Butterfly Show was not open, being told it is only open from mid-April through mid-June. But we really did enjoy walking the beautiful plants. They have sections for Ferns,...More

I walked here after visiting the museum. I don't think I would go just for the Krohn Conservatory but worth the visit if you are already in the area. The orchids were wonderful. The butterfly house was a madhouse of small children so be prepared...More

I enjoy going to see the orchid shows, and various other programs at the Krohn Conservatory, and just walking among the plants is a fun experience. It is smaller than the best of these sorts of places (the DC Botanical Gardens is much larger), but...More

Very well organized. Many entertaining children's activities teaching about the butterflies and their importance. Amazing experience. Gift shop well stocked with relevant items. Beautiful indoor gardens.

As in the past, I took my senior parents to Krohn for the butterflies for Father's Day and this year was one of the best yet. The butterflies are gone for the year, but it is still a great place to visit and escape the...More

As stated before the conservatory is not a park, but more of an arboretum. Eden Park is just across the road, while there are no food vendors, we find it a perfect place to take a picnic lunch after visiting the conservatory.
