We were visiting colleges for the weekend. This square is beautiful and full of things to do. There are several restaurants and in the winter, an ice skating rink. We had an amazing time. A definite must see for families visiting Cincinnati.

Fountain Square is a good place to visit. There are nice bars and restaurants. Good photos can be taken there.

I believe that the German market that you are reference is 'Findlay Market' which is on the northwest side of downtown. I think that it is only open during daytime hours. It is better and livelier during warmer months
