Fountain Square is a fun spot during the summer months. Reggae, Salsa, music, sports etc every night on the square. Something different every night for all people. Nice spot with all kinds of beautiful people having a good time together.

I believe that the German market that you are reference is 'Findlay Market' which is on the northwest side of downtown. I think that it is only open during daytime hours. It is better and livelier during warmer months
