Plan an extra 30 minutes to walk around it. They had just taken down the ice skating rink, which is the winter highlight. Will come back in the summer for a show.

This area hosts lots of events throughout the year. It is surrounded by a large number of eateries and restaurants. Recommend parking at fountain square for convenience and pricing.

Fountain Square is a fun spot during the summer months. Reggae, Salsa, music, sports etc every night on the square. Something different every night for all people. Nice spot with all kinds of beautiful people having a good time together.

The square is a staple if you are visiting downtown. I'm giving it 4 stars because it is one of those things that isn't worth a trip to see but is nice if you are in the area. Restaurants located on all sides of the...More

I love fountain square. Have since I was a little kid. It had a disjointed vibe at the holiday season. Skating rink placement is odd. They had some tents set up selling non seasonal stuff. The only crowd was at the wine tent. I just...More

I believe that the German market that you are reference is 'Findlay Market' which is on the northwest side of downtown. I think that it is only open during daytime hours. It is better and livelier during warmer months
