I had spainal surgery 7 weeks ago and my wife and I were looking for a small outing to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We decided on the Contemporary Arts Center. It was an 90 minute drive and didn't look too big for someone who couldn't do a lot of walking. It was PERFECT. Small footprint on 6 floors. The... More

Loved his museum and thanks to a group of lovely Cincinnati philanthropists it is now free for the next few years! Great exhibits and lovely space. the Un-Museum is a treat for the whole family - a fully interactive space where you can touch the art and create your own. The lobby is a lovely place to just hang out... More

This museum is now free for everyone, definitely check this place out if you're a local or your traveling. It'll take you an hour or so to get through everything. There are even some exhibits that are fun for the kids! Their restaurant is a great place to grab a drink or lite bite. Great date night activity!

The Contemporary Arts Center is a stop in Cincinnati that you shouldn't miss. An interesting and very unusual exhibit "Chasing the Whale and Other Endless Pursuits" ended on August 24, 2016. Another current exhibit is "Life Size Fabric Replicas" with amazing fabric replicas including kitchen appliances, a three story staircase, with unbelievable minuet detail. The Contemporary Arts Center closes at... More

What a great find after lunch. We were staying adjacent to the 21C Museum Hotel. Ate lunch next door and were looking to kill time. The exhibits were awesome. Highly recommend taking a trip to the museum and exploring the beautiful exhibits.

A block over from fountain square, this is a great place to cool off for and hour or two. So much to see and fascinating exhibits. It is an experience rather than a viewing. They had a jazz band playing in the lobby and a coffee bar with light meals too. Loved it.

I had 1/2 hour before my next meeting and this was the perfect interlude. Friendly staff. Creative art. Cafe and lounge to rest your treads. Go.

Visited CAC on a Sunday morning, a family group of 4 adults and an energetic 2 yr old. We went so that she could enjoy the Unmuseum on the 6th floor, designed as an interactive space. We then traveled down through the various spaces to see the other exhibits. Very impressive. The Do Ho Suh exhibition, Passage, was phenomenal. Definitely... More

Beautiful fun museum. No admission charge. All a+. Had 4 boys around 10. They ran up the stairs to the children's floor (6) not stopping at any of the other floors. As we followed behind at adult speed we were greeted with snarling security and uncomfortable glares. I can appreciate concern for the exhibits, but the children never went near... More
