Nice smaller theater that shows movies that larger ones do not. Watched Free Solo there tonight. Place was clean. Parking is limited, either you park on street or in a lot “merchant lot” across the street. They do validate parking but I still had to...More

I have been going to this theatre for over 25 years. It is in a neat area with lots of eclectic shops and different restaurants. So nice not to be in the mainstream stores and restaurants. The theatre has charm and character and the seats...More

From the posters out front with the glass windowed ticket booth and original marquee overhead, you know it's your night our at the movies! You step inside, smell popcorn, and you are excited but relaxed. Indie films and films you read reviews about in the...More

My friend was showing me around town where he grew up and brought me here to check out this great theatre! Very small and quite. It's like stepping back in time. It's a beautiful place with very friendly staff.

The Esquire is in the center of Clifton, down the hill from UC. The have a variety of movies, typically not the big blockbusters. Ticket prices and refreshments are reasonably priced, and their popcorn is delicious.

The Esquire theatre is a local indie film theatre. Most films only stay about 2 weeks. Popcorn (which is best in the city of theatres) and COKE products + beer/wine, usual candy, plus sweets from local bakeries. Always a great experience.

I love movies, all kinds of them. Big blockbusters, little independent films, and international - here is where you get to see the great movies that don't get to the suburban chain theaters. I also love the Clifton neighborhood with so many great restaurants. Make...More

The Esquire is a cozy neighborhood movie theatre in the Clifton (Think UC) area of Cincinnati. It reminds you of the old theatres that dotted the city. They show sone first released movies, indie films and even the Rocky Horrow Picture Show on some Saturday...More
