Really enjoyed the High Style display, the info regarding Raphael's Portrait of a Lady with a Unicorn, the Tiffany stained glass from a local church, and the Ancient Mediterranean displays. Free admission but $4 parking fee.

A friend and I went to the Terrrace Cafe at the Cincinnati Art Museum for their innovative seasonal fare and were once again very happy with the food, the service, and the atmosphere. We chose their unique tomato soup and the special three seasonal tacos, one mushroom, one pork, one zucchini, all DELICIOUS! Then off to the HighStyle fashion exhibit... More

Extensive art museum with interesting descriptions about the artists and the history of the exhibit. Impressive organization and building. And it's free.

The Cincinnati Art Museum is a great place to see great art. They have well known artists and not so well known. I live in the Chicago area so I compare art museums to the Chicago Art Institute. And the Cincinnati Art Museum ranks right up there with Chicago. When ever we're in Cincinnati we check to see what the... More

You have to always check what is happening at the art museum in Cincinnati. The latest is a display of haute couture outfits from the 1920s through the 1950s. There are usually lectures and of course, the excellent art works in the museum permanent collection. It is always free too. Save time to eat at their cafe which has nice... More

I was very impressed with the collections at this art museum, and the fact that it was free to visit was a bonus. As we were walking through admiring the art, it felt like the museum kept getting bigger and there were more stairs to walk up. They had a great variety, and the fashion exhibit they have now is... This art museum has cafe and shop in addition to the art. Admission to general collection is free but fee for special exhibits and parking. Nice new area for children but their new exhibit space is a bit of a disappointment. Museum has good assortment of art and several special exhibits running at a time. It's location on top of... This is a must see if you are in the area. You can spend thirty minutes here, or the whole day. The staff, even the young staff is very informative. Go on line or call ahead to see if they have any special exhibits. You have to visit, even if you don't know the difference between Peter Maxx and VanGogh.

As I live in Cincinnati, I frequently go to the Cincinnati Art Museum, located in Eden Park, only about 15 minutes from my home. It's not the New York Metropolitan or the National Museum in D.C., of course, but it has a good, varied collection beautifully exhibited in a recently redone and enlarged building. The museum includes art dating back... More
