The special exhibit admission cost was very modest with my AARP card. Admission to the actual museum is free. The museum staff and volunteers were knowledgeable and welcoming. The special exhibit was very well done. We spent most of our time there and didn't get a chance to tour other parts of the museum. I can't wait to return to... More

The museum is beautiful and well curated. Went for the special show Van Gogh : Into the Undergrowth. Loved it and so well curated. Fascinating study. As with many things in Cincinnati, this museum is definitely underrated. Admission is free except to special exhibits.

The array of paintings representing the time period was excellent. I gained insight into Van Gogh's artwork. The background information was very instructive. It helped me to understand how he developed into such a master.

The Museum is near Downtown Cincinnati, by taxi is around a 10-minute trip. You will find pieces from ancient cultures of America, Asia and Africa, as well as wonderful pieces from Europe. Their collection of American artist is also relevant. The whole museum can be visited in about three hours.

We spent 3.5 hours there and hardly saw half the museum. The Van Gogh exhibit was amazing. Highly recommend this exhibit to anyone who appreciates art.

We really enjoyed the Van Gogh exhibit as well as the Lexington Camera Club. With that said, the entire museum is a great way to spend an afternoon.

museum does a great job paying homage to local artists and gives artists of Cincinnati a sense of history while amalgamating their works with those of other artists from around the world. I discovered the Mary R. Schiff library on my last visit - a small, but appreciable space.

Went to the special exhibit for $10 each. The best part was the story boards and the various artists to compare the undergrowth theme. If you love van Gogh it is a must see to see some lesser known works...

It's been decades since I've been here. Visited while on a trip to catch the Van Gogh exhibit. What a nice museum! Admission is FREE! Free! Free art! Only special exhibits may have a small fee. How nice and refreshing. The Van Gogh exhibit, which leaves in Jan 2017, was very nice. About 20 Van Goghs and more of related... More
