We visited the Old Courthouse museum and it is an amazing place. It has loads of items from old Vicksburg. Take plenty of time to slowly look around and take it all in.

Stopped here because my husband and I love history. The teen protested but found several displays that fascinated her. She loved the costume and pioneer rooms the most, I think. Discussion with her about daily life for women in the past made it more fun...More

Every now and then, one is allowed to step back in history and experience history. The Old Course House Museum is a treasure. If you are lucky enough to run into storyteller and author, Gordon Cotton, you will be double blessed

We paid $5 per adult and $3 per student and it was totally worth it. The collection is extensive and includes not only Civil War relics, but also other pieces of historical significance. I think my favorite part was the courtroom on the second floor....More
