The historical battle trails are interesting. To many monuments, but enjoyed the drive though the environs.

This is not a very big trail to follow. It can be done in about an hour. There are beautiful monuments all along the trail with interesting details and facts about each one.

This is indeed a very special trail. You get a bigger but better understanding on why Vicksburg was so important in the Civil War.

Drove this tour. Let the kids out at each cannon. The learned alot about this battle they are sure not to learn in a ckassroom!
