While driving through Valley Forge, we came across the arch. We got out to get an up closed look. Read the plaques and enjoy the arch which was dedicated to the soldiers. It is part of the drive so take time to enjoy it.

While this monument may be a nice tribute, it's not a destination activity by itself. If you're doing the Valley Forge driving tour, do get out of your car and take a look.

This is a very beautiful memorial to all the men & women who fought for our freedom here. It is modeled after The Arch de Triumph in Paris. Very nicely done. It’s a nice stop on the National Park tour.

This is a monument on the Valley Forge tour and it was probably my favorite part of the tour. There is a feeling of quiet respect in the area and it offers a very good photo opportunity

We were not expecting such a majestic memorial at Valley Forge, and this arch rivals the best Civil War or WWI/WW2 memorials across the country. The serene setting invites you to spend some quiet time as you look at the arch and its ornate carvings...More

In the style of both Titus' victory arch in Rome and the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, the National Memorial Arch at Valley Forge is a fitting memorial to the suffering and sacrifice of the 12,000 men and 400 women and children who spent the...More
