They also offered free coffee and chocolate samples (try the chocolate covered coffee bean). Actually, there was nothing in the store that were interested in that they did not offer to let us sample. I just wanted some coffee and saw this place and am so glad we stopped! Such a unique experience and was fun for my mother, my daughter and me! They had a very unique and interesting book section, an area for kids to play, free coffee tasting, and the staff is super nice. The Kona coffee is amazing!…

At first sight this was an overcrowded touristy shop but there were some good products for sale if you took time to look. The tour of the outside area was interesting in some respects, for example looking at blossom and pods on coffee trees but the rest of the area, which wasn’t working as it was Sunday, led us to believe that it was somewhat derelict and just part of the old Sugar Mill which had been closed for close to twenty five years. In reality this is a big gift shop that features different coffees and other Hawaiian themed souvenirs. They conduct mini-tours of the coffee processing plant and there is always several types of coffee available for sampling.
