This gem museum is on the second floor of the building. It is a secret little treasure. They also sells beautiful jewelry at reasonable prices, especially pearl jewelry.

We enjoyed our visit here. Many beautiful gemstone examples and exhibits. Also nice variety of jade carvings. Our time spent with Liz was a real treat, and we left with a lovely custom made gem stone bracelet for a small price! Recommended.

My young daughter and I visited here one Thursday morning and were disappointed in our visit. The museum was quite musty and in need of a tidy. We wouldn't recommend.

Really disappointed. Made all the way here only to found out that it's already closed on a Monday afternoon 2.30pm ? Though the light was on, metal shutters was down with a car in it. Many attempts to call them to no avail.

A small (free of fee) museum almost hidden from sight but when you come in, you would find a new world: all sorts of corals and pearls not only from Hawaii but from around the globe. A visit there enriches the visitor who would be astound in front of the richness, especially of corals. Im memoriam of Mrs. Lu.

We walked past here quite a few times and didn't know what it was. I looked it up on trip advisor and saw that it was a museum of gemstones. I decided to take my daughter here and its her favorite part of our trip. The staff was great and super knowledgeable. We are going back today! Its free and... More

Found this little gem walking along the street from our hotel. Saw the sign and was curious. It's up an elevator and up on the third floor where there's are caves of treasures: large rocks with crystals, stones, pearl and coral exhibits. Lots of jewelry for purchase, some quite expensive but some very reasonable. The girl working there said they... More

Found this by accident just walking down the street. Funny little pokey museum. Not very good lighting on displays but very interesting. Lots of incredible stones from all over the world and some very large. The range of jewelry created here needs to be seen to be believed. Beautiful pieces and very reasonable prices. Free to tour.

I discovered Lucoral quite by accident as I walked down the street! Located in what appears to be an apartment building, it's easy to miss. It's free, and well worth the 20 minutes or so it will take for a quick walk through. Some really lovely coral pieces, large jade carvings and the opportunity to learn the history of this... More

We accidentally stumbled onto the Lu Coral Museum while strolling down Kuhio St. From the street it didn't look like much. But we walked through the small parking structure and hit the elevator button. When elevator opened we were in a different world.....lots and lots of coral things on display and then we discovered the jewelry department. Should not have... More
