Our ship was berthed at Pier 2 Cruise Terminal and walked northwest on Nimitz Hwy (92) to Bishop St and then north on Fort St to the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace. Church dates back to 1864 and was very beautiful.

You'll be amazed to step inside the oldest cathedral in the US in continued use until today. It even houses the artifact of Saint Father Damien and Saint Marianne Cope.

We weren't in Honolulu on the weekend so we had no idea that the Cathedral was closed from Monday-Friday for renovations. I guess we'll be back on the next trip.
