We were on a tour with a group and I thought it would be an issue, but having the audio players with ear phones basically moved things along and kept talking to a minimum. The tour through the submarine was a great pace.

Your paid all inclusive ticket entitles you to an excellent audio tour. You'll have a new appreciation of close quarters. We asked and were told the brass fittings were always kept shin, ship shape for use. Often this tour, which starts just a few yards...More

Very informative and well worth seeing. Every one should learn about the US's entry into WWII and why the Japanese choose to start a war

Pay the $20 while at the Pearl Harbor Memorial. You can do a audio tour of the sub and it is Awesome! Great examples of living on a sub. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed the sub, I just didn't like being stuck behind the large group of Asians that clogged the entire sub and stopped to take group photos in front of anything and everything. You are stuck in a tube, if you are behind bad tourists...More

The submarine is a wonderful display of Naval WWII accomplishments. It is so tiny and so efficient, This sub traveled almost 100,000 miles and was directly related to sinking several Japanese ships and subs

Really enjoyed walking through this submarine. Only had the 1-page document describing the submarine as I walked through, but I felt this gave me enough information. I really enjoyed learning about this.

Took a guided tour of the Park. It did not allow time to see the submarine so I had to go back on my own. It was well worth it. Do not miss this.

This tour was a highlight, amazing to see how so many men lived in such confined quarters for so long. The sleeping quarters were so cramped.

I don't think so. I recall waiting for the Arizona film to start and then going out to the site but I think for the submarine you just go whenever.
