It’s not easy, especially if your starting point is the bus stop outside the park on a warm day, but it’s well worth it. Take some rest breaks & soon enough you’ll be at the top looking down at the famous beach taking that iconic...More

For $1 pp you get entry into the park & can hike the trail to the top. Start of trail is on uphill concrete sidewalk that quickly turns into an uneven dirt trail with numerous switchbacks, followed by steep steps but worth the views! We...More

Beautiful Sunrise!! There are several spots to stop and rest...take your time, rest but keep going! We were going to take the bus but the hotel recommended a cab. We were super thankful when we saw the hike from the bus stop just to the...More

The pavement has been smoothed out a little. Climbed with my sister and 10 year old niece. She loved it and found it very easy.

Very cool piece of history. The pillboxes were neat and the hike itself is gorgeous. Will be doing this every time I visit Oahu.

We hiked Diamond Head on a Wednesday morning around 10:00 am and it was mobbed, like a popular Disney ride. If you don't mind mob scenes to lovely overlooks via a relatively easy climb and 2 steep sets of stairs, this hike is for you....More

It was crowded but everyone was pleasant. People from around the whole hiking with one goal in mind - getting to the top. The views are great. The stairs not too difficult. The cold fruit sold by local food truck after hike was a treat....More

We thought it was another tourist place, but we were wrong! All the trecks and steps you climbed to the top of Diamond Head is worthwhile! We went there in the late afternoon to climb up for the sun-set, in flip flops!

We went at noon, plenty of parking and wasn't too busy but was very hot! Not much shade on the trail.

On Saturday mornings there is an amazing farmers market. We got all kinds of yummy food there. Diamond Head is also very close to Waikiki.

No pay at the gate, I used UBER and then I didn't have to worry about parking.
