We did the "Heart of the Missouri" tour, and it was excellent. Our tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. Also, it's a chilling experience stepping foot on the ship where WWII ended.
Also, you can see all parts of the battleship. It's an incredible to...More
This is a great piece of history and I like how they have situated the USS Missouri (representing the end of WW2 for US) directly adjacent to the USS Arizona (representing the beginning of WW2 for US). The Mighty MO has a great picture opportunity...More
One of the finest war memorials I've visited. Not only do you get to stand on the place where WWII ended, but you get access to much of the ship, something that's almost impossible to do for a ship of this vintage. It's absolutely mesmerizing...More

We just rocked up on the day and went during the week as wasn’t long in queues at all, do not though that u can’t take anything in larger then a wallet/phone eg no bags. All this can be stored in lockup for like $2, when we went in Oct there was only 1 hotdog stand and 1 shop that sold drinks and bags of chips no other hot food, but if you go on the bus trip across the harbour ( addition you pay for to see Mighty Mo battleship which is awesome there are a few hot food places there. We just took a hop on hop off bus service over there to pearl harbour and they were $25 pp but great way to travel as they are open sided buses so cool relaxed way to sightsee. That way you can spend as little time or more as you like as there is timetable of pickup times back to town, they are everywhere and diff coloured ones take you on diff parts of the island. Make sure you go to Hanauma Bay for snorkeling even if like me don’t like swimming in the sea as it was 10/10 and we hired scooters to get out there, enjoy your trip

If your staying Waikiki, consider taking a tour operator (We do recommend Hoku Hawaii Tours) for the day excursion to Pearl Harbour; it has accesses to the Arizona (float around) Bowfin, Pacific Air and Battleship Missouri. No transport problems to and from Pearl as well as moving between venues. Lunch was included on out trip.. As prior, there was no opening date for the Arizona Memorial
