We visited Pearl harbor thinking we'd whip through it in no time and ended up wanting to see every bit of it. We really appreciated the entire experience and thought purchasing tickets ahead and paying for the entire experience was worth it. We saved waiting...More

Folks need to be reminded that war is awful and young men and young women die fighting for their country. Here we are reminded that the day before the attack on Pearl Harbor, this was an idyllic post. That day, the surprise attack killed so...More

Great place to learn, respect and remember our past. My kids enjoyed it and learned more then they could read on their own.

I say, if you go to Honolulu and don’t visit the Arizona your not aloud to go back. Everything else comes after the Arizona. After you’ve gone once feel free to come back and just relax. But don’t miss the most inspiring, moving, humbling monument...More

Don't waste your time going because the majority of the people that visit this monument are the offspring of the people that blew it up to begin with.

We brought Tickets online for $1.50 at 2pm to miss the morning rush for free ticket. Well worth it and very quiet considering the number of people. Well set out, learnt a lot more and left with multiple feelings

Very informative day. Sad that the footings need repair & unfortunately you can’t go on the memorial at the moment. But we saw it by helicopter which was amazing.

I have a tour booked where we are picked up from our hotel at 6:00am and returned at 1:30pm. We are touring the Arizona and the Missouri. I missed the 2 month out advanced ticket purchase and am wondering if it would be smarter to cancel the tour and try to get tickets from recreation.gov the day before. I would purchase tour 3 from recreation.gov if I buy one. We will be arriving the day before and will still be on Eastern time (6 hours ahead). I am traveling with 2 children (9&11) and my parents (70&71). What would be the simplest option-staying with the tour OR DIYing it? My dad only wants to take the kids to Arizona and Missouri. I want to do the tour that is the least taxing on my parents and where we can go first thing. If you get online the day before, do you really get the option to purchase 7:00am tickets or would I more than likely be coming at a later time?

If you have tickets in advance, you need to arrive early due to tight parking. If you don't have advanced tickets, they give 1500 of them away every morning starting at 7:30 and you have no choice in times -- in fact... More

We spent all day. We had the Oahu go pass, that covered all options. Traveling from the main land I think I would have regretted not seeing every thing while there. If you have a Costco membership, you can receive a discount... More
