We dropped by on our way to visit the Beavertail Lighthouse. There are two parts to this “fort” so if you go, make sure to visit both sides. There are some good photo ops for those that like to take pictures. The weather was beautiful...More

Great place to go fishing. Spearfishing. Photos of the surrounding area. Exploring the old Fort. Good place to walk around and enjoy the views and water with the ships pasting by. Stay for a sunrise or sunset

Fort Wetherill was a disappointment from the beginning. There is so much trash left behind by other inconsiderate people who visit. It is a state run park and there are no trash receptacles. There are also fish hooks and broken bottles all over the rocks....More

Nice place to spend the day watching the boats sail by. I like to bring a chair and a picnic lunch. Usually not crowded as it is kind of off the beaten trail.

Way bigger than I had expected. Huge military ruins and great trails for wondering around the old fortifications. Get towards the bay and see amazing views.
