Nice drive by but don't stop. The odor will knock you out. Not much to do here other than view the ocean or fly a kite.

We find Brenton Point State Park a beautiful place to pull off of Ocean Drive and enjoy the view and the sound of the waves. There are lots of available park benches on the ocean side of th road.

Brenton Point is a great stop on the Ocean Drive loop. Relax, enjoy the gorgeous scenery, or grab a kite and from the kite store here and really get into the spirit of the place.

We parked and walked all around. There's trails in the back and a old look out tower. A Portugese sculpture at the point which is very interesting. I recommend parking and spending a few hours here on a nice day.

Practically 180 degrees of views over the water from this area. We have been told that sunsets are great here but clouds roll in every time we go. We take a picnic and watch the water, nice area and steady wind- hence the kites.

No. The park is free. If you are coming from the West of Newport, the bridge has a toll.
