We enjoyed the little hike to this special spot. The sight was truly breath taking. What a perfect place to stop with a picnic. The steps to the light house will get your heart pumping a little bit faster but are quite safe. The waves...More

Sliders, Chowder and fries - we were in a hurry and the place was heaving so not the best way to check things out but the staff at the Wharf Bar were fine and the food was okay.

We were staying next to this wharf, very glad we did. Resturants, shopping and things to do all in one place.

Shopping! Eating! And more shopping. Tourist central of the Newport harbor area. Can’t miss. Just look for the crowds of tourists.

If you go to downtown Newport you will definitely see Bowen's Wharf. It has several restaurants, I recommend The Lobster Bar, and lots of little shops. Be sure to walk down this wharf & take a look - you'll get magnificent water views along the...More

Bowen's Wharf is a mix of restaurants and shops. There are a few places to sit and take in the boats docked there. It's an enjoyable place for a walk. Parking is available in paid lots or metered parking (make sure you have quarters).

Bowen's Wharf is just off Thames Street and its an area of shopping and eating--as well as a dock for boats and charters. Unfortunately, I don't have much to say about it other than it has some neat shops and eateries. If you're going to...More
