Since its debut in May, 2006, Newport Pedicab has quickly established itself as Newport’s #1 pedal-powered transportation service. Our rides are popular among tourists and locals, children and adults, and we are rapidly becoming an integral part of the downtown Newport landscape. Our customers have been so pleased with their pedicab rides, we’ve stopped charging set rates! We merely ask our riders to "pay as you please" – ensuring that you can’t possibly be disappointed by their service, since you only pay what you feel your ride was worth. It saves us on the math, saves you on the uncertainty. PEDICABS - We maintain New England’s largest fleet of state-of-the-art, 21-speed pedicabs. All the bikes are equipped with lights, reflectors, shock-absorbed seating, bells and hydraulic breaks. For those less-than-perfect nights, our cabs will be out in force with all-weather full-cabin coveralls and warm fleece blankets. Hail a red rickshaw tonight, and know that you are in for a safe, comfortable, stylish ride.

We visited Newport on a cruise ship and decided to take pedicab tour. Provided weather is good, and it was, pedicab tour definitely has an advantage over regular bus tour. The view is not obstructed at all, you get really close to mansions. Mike adjusted regular tour for us concentrating on mansions rather than downtown, made a stop at Cliff... More

My son and I took a pedicab back to our B&B after having a wonderful dinner. We had walked into town but after being so full and having to walk up hill I just couldn't do it. We saw a pedicab and asked the young man Colby if he would take us back. What a nice young man. I felt... More

Awesome time. Patrick was great. Quick 1+ hour tour of Newport. Lots to see. Patrick stopped at a few places so we could take pictures. Would do again.

Was fabulous, despite being a hilly area nothing deterred our cyclist from giving us a fantastic two- hour tour of the mansions, city and waterfront. The best way to see Newport if you have limited time avaiable is with a knowledgeable guide who was enthusiastic about his town. He took us to the sightseeing highlights, some lessor known spots and... More

My husband called three times, our hotel two additional times with no return call. We eventually called a real cab.

So much fun. I forget my driver's name, but he was so awesome. He kept conversation going the whole ride from Bowens wharf down Thames. It is just a great way to get around. Fast, fun, and reasonable.

My 12 year old son and I spent a couple of days in Newport and last night after dinner on Bowens Wharf he pleaded with me to take a pedicab back to our hotel. The walk was less than five minutes, but we rode home in the pedicab. John, our peddler, was interesting and the ride was exciting and safe.... More

We used the pedicabs to get to the Newport Flower Show and what a great move. The guys were right on time for our party of 12 and couldn't be more helpful and professional. This was much better than renting conventional taxicabs or walking. We all had a blast. Our driver, Michael, was gracious and fun. They picked us up... More

I went to Newport for the Jazz Festival and I wouldn't have made it anywhere if it weren't for the pedicabs, the traffic was awful and if I were to get into a car I wouldn't have seen the beautiful sites of Newport. The pedicabers were strong, and had great personalities, and were full of useful information about Newport. So... More
