This mansion had one of the most beautiful properties, situated right along the water with gardens around it. This is a personal tour which runs on the 1/2 hour, and it is a nice change from the headsets you tour with at the other mansions....More

The other Newport mansions are from the Gilded Age as is Rough Point, but Rough Point was restored by Doris Duke in the 1960s. It is a much more recognizable decor style. Just magnificent. The view here is stupendous.

We enjoyed touring this magnificent mansion. The guide was very knowledgeable. It's not ornate like The Breakers but the furnishings, artwork and antiques are incredible. After the tour spend time wandering around the grounds. The view is breathtaking!

She was probably as close to American Royalty as we've ever experienced. An interesting woman, with a bottomless well of inherited money. She lived the life, and you can get a peek at it here.

Hello, Thank you for your question! You do not need to print a ticket that you purchased online. You can just let the desk staff know the name in which the ticket was purchased under and that will grant you admission.

Good answer by Richard B. Don't miss Rough Point, if you get a chance, watch the movie Too rich - the secret life of Doris Duke. I visited many mansions, but this is the one I made the trip for.
