This building is elegant, beautiful and historical. It strikes you from the moment you walk into the lobby. Although it is no longer used as a hotel (hopefully they will restore it full use), it is a wonderful event center. The decor is reminiscent of...More

I was curious about the three red building neat the City Hall. People in Buffalo are nice. I found out that the Statler City is perfect for weddings and receptions. The chandeliers are attractive and the ballroom is the highlight of it all. Wow! Wortwhile...More

The ballroom was had was very nice and you can tell that it was renovated. The food here was fantastic as well. Definitely don't read any reviews before the renovations started because they just don't compare to how it is now.

Wasn't sure about it when we pulled up but the venue inside the building was beautiful. Staff was great.

On one morning of our brief stay in Buffalo (our first), I walked past a grand structure, which appeared to be deserted, though there were a few “construction barricades” around the ground floor. It reminded me of a grand hotel, along the lines of the...More

Another white elephant in Buffalo. Aside from the facade that occasionally falls off and makes the news, the building includes two floors of serviceable banquet space and a lot of decay.

We were looking forward to going to the Statler Hotel ballroom for Easter brunch. The web site advertised a $36.95 brunch and along with two other couples and friends we decided to attend. The ballroom of this historic hotel was a great setting for the...More

We decided to have our Easter Brunch at this historic location.... little did we know that we would be paying an additional 20% for what they call a service charge but I guess it was for the preservation and other work being done at the...More

They do not have rooms at the Statler. I think Embassy Suites is a close location and a very good hotel.
