An oasis of breathtaking beauty, these gardens - filled with flowers, plants, herbs and cacti from around the world - are housed inside an 1890s Victorian glass-domed greenhouse. The site, designed by New York Central Park creator Frederick Law Olmstead, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Botanical Gardens have always been one of the best aspects of being from South Buffalo. It is a beautiful place architecturally and it is fun and educational as well.

You MUST visit this place if in Buffalo no matter what season. It is absolutely gorgeous. My cousin was married here and I had never been before.

Went in February of 2016 and they already had their spring flowers out. The colors were so amazing. Amazing place.

Went last night to see Lumination. That is a great way to see the botanical gardens. Have been there numerous time in daytime but this was really unique. Nice lights and Chinese lanterns.

Great for family. New updates make it better. Not as much for young children to do. Toddlers have an activity area. Most plants in great shape. Recommend for any who like plants. Don't really need more than 1.5 hours to go through.

I have never been to this destination even though I have lived in the area all my life. It was on my bucket list of local sites and will probably be visited again. Displays are very interesting. There are so many different varieties to see that you need to spend a fair amount of time. There are many great spots... More

We went to visit during the winter with the Poinsetta's during Christmas. They had a really cute running mini train station. A lot of poinsetass and cactus but not much of other types of flowers. I would definiltey go back in the summer since the gardens are pretty large. There is a wonderful Wegmans Garden for the kids to learn... More

Visited the Botanical Gardens just a couple of days ago with my parents. As it is currently winter, none of the outdoor gardens were blooming. It is probably a totally different experience in the Spring / Summer / Fall. One of the large areas is under construction, so our visit only lasted about two hours. I would assume that when... More

For only 9$ we are allowed to see all the splendors of this amazing greenhouse. When we came, it was a week before Christmas, and we had a spectacular visit with lots of Christmas trees, decorations, ornaments. It’s quite intriguing to see Poinsettias with tropical plants and trees, as well as cacti. When our kids were still children, we visited... More
